Puppy Life Skills Class
Training that your puppy will understand, setting them up with real life skills that will last them a lifetime.
Puppy Life Skills Class for puppies up to 6 months of age.
Small group of 4 puppies to enable personal attention and allow focus on providing excellent science based training in a fun learning environment for owners too.
Learn the basics as soon as your puppy is fully vaccinated. Skills such as keeping 4 feet on the floor around your kitchen counters or at your front door. Teach your puppy fabulous recall exercises and take the first steps in working as a team on loose lead walking. Have a go at a ‘drop’ game, a very important skill for puppies who pick up stones, socks or tv remotes. Try an emergency stop which is SO important for letting your puppy off lead in parks or near water.
Learn the basic positions such as sit, down, stand and how to encourage your puppy to be comfortable with being handled, plus so much more.
The class involves 5 consecutive weeks of 1 hour sessions. The cost is £100 and you are supported on your journey through a Facebook group for YOUR class. The group stays open after the class finishes so that you can continue to dazzle us with your progress or seek more support.
First Steps Recall Workshop
Recall is a crucial skill, it gives your puppy more freedom and the choice to explore at their own pace and it gives you the confidence to be able to let them off lead and keep them safe! It’s also an important part of being a responsible dog owner.
Many puppy owners find out the hard way that their puppy’s recall skills aren’t perfect. There’s nothing quite like that horrible sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach when you shout your ‘here’ only to see them going in the opposite direction.
Come and learn some fun, simple games to get you off to a great start on building the first steps in recall skills. This is an absolute beginners class for those looking to take their new skills home or out to the park and put them in to practice before coming back for the next workshop.
We will teach you, step by step how to train your puppy to come back to you reliably and be rewarded for it. We will guide you through each step of the process and give you time on the day to practice your new skills in our safe, controlled, fun learning environment with guidance from an experienced trainer.
This First Steps Recall Workshop lasts 90 minutes and is supported by a Facebook group for YOUR class so that you can be supported in your learning once you leave the training field.
